There was never any doubt he was going to win by KO. It was just a matter of when. Haymon is a good advisor and he gave Stevenson good advise. Don't fight Kovalev because he will probably knock you. I don't know if Haymon told Stevenson that but I know the fight won't happen and Kovalev is not the reason it won't happen.

When it comes to Kovalev vs. GGG they are both damn good KO artists but PFP I think GGG is a little bit better and more complete fighter. GGG can't beat him because of the size difference. If they were exactly the same size I'd give GGG the edge.Comment

Curtis Stevens fought a damn tough fight against GGG.....Agnew fought pretty good to, but it was never competitive and he didn't land much at all. He was more in survivor mode where as Stevens was really trying to win.
On the other hand Stevens really upped his stock even with a loss... And actually clocked Gennady in multiple exchanges.Comment

Thought the exact same thing. The main difference was Stevenson threw more and has big power but it played out crazy similar. Good call.Comment

Very, very similar, although I thought Agnew had a better defense than Stevenson did in his fight with GGG....
