He struggled against Cedric Agnew, only to get Ready for Stevenson.

If this same Agnew had more Stamina & Aggressiveness, Cedric Agnew would probably won that bout.
    Adonis Stevenson reaction was base on ONE thing;
Kovalev says: (He's a piece of ****, on HBO)
***9658; That's what triggered Stevenson, nothing else (haters)...

But this "Stup*d" hate is good for boxing.
For all of you MMA lovers, hoping to see one day, the rising of the Great White hope, (I tought the Klitchko's were enough)..

    Now, with this Kove weakness-exhibit:
    - Jean Pascal will jump to the occasion to face Kovalev...
    - Tavoris Cloud will jump to the occasion to face Kovalev too...
    - Even Andre Ward knows he would win every single rounds against Kove...

***9658; But (The ESPN Legend) Kovalev will come up with a stup*d story, like:

    - I was preocupied with this (disrecpected) move Adonis Stevenson did..
    - I couldn't think/concentrate/focus on my gameplan that night.
    - Because it wasn't me on that ring, everybody knows that.
    - I was not there at 100%, & (Superman, Bla-bla-bla duck-coward) & thats's why I called him a piece of ****...

***9658; And finally, to avoid the pack of fighters running to him, he'll say:
    - I fought a lot since 2012, It's time for me to take a break, I'll come back when a RRreal Champion will accept to challenge me.

    + Just wait & see...

***9658; Anyway, Kathy Duva & HBO doesn't pay him enough, to think about resting for a while. The 3 other major champions are with Showtime. Means he will have no choice to accept a Cloud or a Pascal, to make a bit more money. It's Mama Kathy who decides, like she decides to sign Kove under HBO ***AFTER))) Superman signs with Showtime. YES, I said ***AFTER))).

She had the option of proposing a bid to Showtime too, but she just didn't. Kovalev would've done more money per fight, but now he stuck with less... With no possibility to settle business with Haymon because of mama Duva emotional involvement in this story which she changed into a conflict.

A lot of haters lie to themselve, about believing Stevenson being scared
    of Kovalev;
Hey! what would you say, if I told you, that it's Kovalev that never wanted this fight to happend. He & his entire team used Adonis Stevenson name to overboost his own image, making MMA lovers believe he is greater than the fighter of the year 2013, Adonis Stevenson.

But for the true impartial boxing fan, you know Superman would beat the
crap out of the Krusher. And finally, you believe Stevenson when he says, he moved to Showtime for a better money offer.
Unfortunatly HBO president "Ken Hershman" didn't match the Showtime bid, and now realize they're stuck with Kovalev, an Unidimentional fighter.

Hey! Hater, put this in your mind; Kovalev is not your Great white hope, he might exist somewhere, but it's not Kovalev.

I seriously feel bad for you. You have legitimate issues and I'm not trying to make you feel bad, I'm just saying. You seem to be severely delusional and I would suggest stepping outside and getting some Vitamin D3 from the sun for 10-15 minutes and maybe some meditation/yoga.

Agnew gave him loads of trouble with the few shots he did throw, had him backing up, Kovalev was afraid of his power. Kovalev's flaws are obvious.

After seeing this fight Stevenson knocks him out easy.
Lol. Adonis just blatantly ducked him in one of the biggest ducks in boxing over the past few years. Obviously he doesn't feel the same as you.

Also tell me again what Ward and Adonis have in common again...... ?

      Keyboard warriors, gotta love em

That would be much better for both his rep and his bank balance than this shameless duck but he chooses to duck. You should lend him some of your confidence so next time he doesnt stutter on tv when Kovs name mentioned

Ward holds he doesn't move; you hope he can hold off the T-90. Stevenson stalks; T-90 has 125mm canon; will get hit while retreating.

Only thing Agnew did was cover up and throw low blows.

What was so great about Agnew's performance? It was horrible actually. He showed a good chin, kinda. He landed 30 punches in 7 rounds. Only three of which were worth anything. He stood there and got his ass whooped. Same tactic as Cleverly. Except he has more pop, so Kovalev had to be a bit more careful.
Kovalev fought just fine. What'd you expect him to do? Risk it all and just tee off like an untrained ******?

I think people want to see what they expect. not what's realistic. They expected Kovalev not to get hit at all. That is absurd with his style. He's going to get hit. Agnew is a professional fighter. How ****ing ****** are people? Was Kovalev EVER in any sort of danger whatsoever? Absolutely not.

It seems Kov couldn't win last night. With him being careful, using his boxing skills, he systematically broke down a game challenger. But of course that's not fast enough. Then if he blasted the guy out in 1-2 rounds, he's apparently just a bum with a big punch. Can't win with some 'fans'.

Are you a very old person? "Great white hope" is a very old term from back when "world championship" really meant "American championship" and black guys were beating up unathletic fat Americans with desk jobs.

Once the sport went international and America reluctantly started giving Hispanic, European, etc. fighters credit, that term started to be something only elderly black "Sanford and Son" types who live in denial still use.
