Good win against a good fighter that came to win. I'm sure the Kovalev fanboys are creamin' in their panties about how awesome he looked. But he definitely showed some holes in his game that could be exploited by better fighters at or around his division. Good fighter. Strong as hell and hits like a mule.

The dude is probably more disappointed in Kovalev for not knocking him out sooner so he could go home. I am tired of seeing these non-ambitious so-called boxers talk their way into paydays. It was embarrassing stuff from Agnew. Again, let me reiterate my point, no one stands and takes this amount of punishment from a puncher and convinces me he comes to win. NO ONE!

Read my past post's when it comes to my thoughts on Kovalev - Good fight and win for him. He had to make adjustments, he got cut, suffered a low blow or 2, had to fight backing up occasionally. People on here criticizing his performance do not realize that Kovalev learned a lot from this fight! Agnew came to win..Agnew gave him looks he has never seen, Agnew made him go 7 instead of 4 - Kovalev was breathing pretty hard, so that's what I feel he needs to work on, tho you only experience this in a real fight I think this is his only weakness that I can detect so far, I normally don't give him props, but he finally showed ME what he's made of. See its easy to look good when cats lay down or are there for your punches to connect. Kovalev had to figure dude out!

Even going down 3 times in 7 rounds he never panicked and he had a tight defense lowering Kovalev's connect rate to 25%. His defense was good but not good enough. And Agnew's offense was atrocious, like I said the only memorable punch he threw all night was the low blow.
