There are only a handful I'd pick to beat the young Mayweather

    Mosley
    Duran
    Whitaker

    maybe Ike Williams. Doubtful.
Ight Im not going to beat you down too bad over it. Im still coming off some passion from the last thread.

But I still disagree about Pernell having dimensions. Even if he has some, he wasnt perfected all around complete fighter. He DID like to be too flashy for my liking. I felt his gameplan for Tito was awful and said allot about Pernell as a fighter. Im not gonna go to war with you over it tho.

Only a shot Pea loses to Mayweather, imo.

Mayweather is a much better fighter than Whitaker was. Whitaker was more flash than substance.

Mayweather could best Pea at 147. But that's not the Pea that schooled up Azumah

This is madness. Pea outboxes him inside and outside.

Floyd has no prime. He still in his prime. What does that say about both fighters? I wont attack Pernell's lack of dedication. But do I boast about Floyd's work ethic? Floyd is consistant on fight to fight bases, still going strong 18 yrs my gawd.

If only Whitaker took those long layoffs Mayweather did in his prime.

A fighter like Pea would NEVER beat a fighter like Floyd. Floyd is probably the most multidimensional fighter in the history of boxing. Sweat Pea is just another flashy defensive fighter.
As soon as I started reading this, before I looked at the name, I KNEW it was you.
