And I don't wanna turn this into another Pac vs Floyd war, but let's be honest, Pac has taken on tougher fights than Floyd throughout his career and Floyd has come up with excuse after excuse as to why he can't/won't fight Pac.

It's close between Floyd and BHop, you could pick either for #2.
I won't disagree that manny has taken bigger challenges but I hate when people act like Floyd hasn't..

Corrales was a monster at 130 and was top 5 p4p-- Floyd dismantled him

First fight at 135 he took on the best lightweight of the last 15 years in Castillo and narrowly beat him, then rematches him to remove all doubt

    Fighting oscar at 154

    Fighting canelo

The dude came off a 2 year layoff and his tune up was the lightweight champ of the world followed by the reigning welter champ....

Those are big time challenges, and no one has been able to drop Floyd let alone beat him....

Plus having more challenges doesn't make you the better fighter,,, toney took more challenges than Roy, but Roy schooled hi,,,, froch had more challenges than calzaghe, but joe is the better fighter,,, IMO the same applies to Floyd and manny

Yep, those are good wins for Floyd (except beating Canelo is nothing major, he's not very good), I don't think you'd find anyone who would deny that

But since moving to 140/147, Floyd has ducked numerous fighters, picked his opponents carefully and played it safe. I preferred Floyd before he was a huge star and before he moved to 140/147.

Btw Pac hasn't only fought better fighters than Floyd, he's also beaten the better fighters.

Manny has played it safe sometimes as well since moving up to 147 full time

Yeah but Floyd would beat all those guys as well... No doubt in my mind that Floyd would school Barrera and morales like he did jmm... Remember those guys stayed at feather till Floyd left 130, then they immediately moved up and fought his leftovers in famoso and Chavez...
If morales thought zahir was a nightmare, Floyd would have been 10x worse

Good list but prince I would put on a 90s list

Shane is way too high,,, he beat oscar in 2000, and then didn't get another big win til margs, and IMO margs was completely shot from the cotto war, forget the wrap scandal, he took a vicious beating from cotto as well as dishing it out, I don't think margs was ever the same after that fight.. Plus Shane got schooled by Forrest and winky and lost to cotto, lost to Floyd manny and canelo

I'd put Oscar in instead of Winky. And move Oscar to 4. The list is solid though!

Oscar got all his big wins in the 90s..
Since 2000 he lost to Shane legit, and was robbed
Beat Vargas which is his best win of the 2000s
Got a gift in the sturm fight
                      Embarressed by Hopkins
Lost a competitive fight vs Floyd
                      Got waxed by manny

Winky dominated Shane twice, Ike, Tito, draw for mw belt, and really never lost in the 2000s except when he stepped up to light heavy vs Hopkins,,, and when he was way past prime vs prime Williams and quillen

Oscar historically has done much more, but if only going by 2000s winky has done more
