Floyd has to be rated number 1 since 2000.. You can make a case for manny but no way is there a real case for Hopkins being number 1
If your glove touches the canvas, technically it's a knockdown. Albeit a flash knockdown.

And getting knocked down and/or out doesn't define how great you are.

Puzzles me when people act like Calzaghe would beat all these people H2H. Had an up and down fight with Byron Mitchel Kessler competed with him for the first 6 Rounds aswell.
Judah competed with Floyd for 6 rounds as well, so did hatton...

Great fighters overcome adversity and adapt and that's exactly what calzaghe did...
Calzaghe would beat nearly everyone of his era... He is a better fighter than wlad, winky, Shane, cotto,

I know you don't rate calzaghe high, so I will just end it here, instead of going 20 pages of debate

So let me get this straight pac has multiple wins over two guys in your top ten not to mention oscar and morales and is ranked lower then floyd whos best win would be oscar and hatton two guys manny destroyed and corrales(lol)

Pretty good list but not sure about the order you ranked them in.

I have said in this thread that manny is the only one that you could make a case for being #1 besides Floyd... Your post is a great and valid arguement for manny..
I just think Floyd is the better fighter..titles from 130-154, never been down,, and has shutout really good fighters like jmm, canelo corrales,

IMO Floyd is the best fighter since 2000, but you make the best case I have heard for manny... Bravo and good job

Judah competed with Mayweather for 6 Rounds? Not in my eyes, for 4 rounds I suppose.

I gave Hatton 1 of the first 6 Rounds.

I know but I don't see how H2H he seems to get ranked highly, he barely beat Robin Reid.

And I don't see Calzaghe as being any better than any of those guys you mentioned. I have him on the same level as Winky and Cotto and have both Wlad and Mosley ahead of him.

Many move up in weight much more impressively tearing thru these larger men. As for mayweathers win over marquez that doesn't do much for me. Making marquez move up two weight classes and then cheating him on the scales. Not thay the weight mattered floyd would probably beat marquez in any scenario but that win is bullsht.

True but it does matter when your splitting hairs trying to rank guys

All 3 fighters have great wins, big time fights, titles, etc

2 have been dropped a few times, outboxed on multiple occasions, beaten multiple times and one of them has been iced, while the 3rd guy has never been knocked down, never been outboxed and never been defeated

That's what I'm basing it on.... Do you really think Floyd would get outboxed by Taylor, morales, jmm, Dawson...

Ok, it was probably more like 4 rounds that zab competed... Hatton I felt was game thru the first 6 but in the 7th when his back hit the ropes backing up I knew Floyd had him..
Reid fight was close, but every fighter in history has a close fight,, Floyd had it with Castillo, Hopkins had it in the first mercado fight, Dawson got bothered by glen johnson,,, and fights like those are usually early in their career and first stepping up in competition and is a learning experience.. I think joe learned from that fight and later on was in much better shape to deal with Kessler... Had he not had the Reid fight, it probably would have been Kessler that he struggled with...

I'm not really splitting hairs, I think Manny's resume is quite a bit better than Floyd's.

And I don't wanna turn this into another Pac vs Floyd war, but let's be honest, Pac has taken on tougher fights than Floyd throughout his career and Floyd has come up with excuse after excuse as to why he can't/won't fight Pac.

It's close between Floyd and BHop, you could pick either for #2.
