Atleast he's interesting and I think he has a chance of progression.
No other heavyweight that's out there weither a seasoned pro or up and comer seems to be able to "grow in the sport"!
If this kid could get his weight to stop growing I think he could be fun to watch.
I know he's not from the States but he is North American hahaha.......
his height is ok at 6'2" however his reach is surprisingly short for his height. A 74" will make it tuff on him when he runs into giving away 5 to 8 inches against someone with an educated jab. Then again if you can take the jab away from a jabber your in business! That's one reason I see him as interesting.

Ruiz's defence is poor, Tor Hamer was getting through easily before he quit on his stool. Based on what I saw in that fight, as limited as Wilder is, he might knock him out.

Tony Thompson has earned that respect until further notice.

No offense, but andy ruiz is a pudgy fighter with quick hands,, I have not been that impressed with him at all... except for the fact that he looks like a slob but does have hand speed and skills,, but he is not that good,,, let him step up in competition and i think he gets beat

I honestly don't know at this point! I'd narrow it down to three, Deontay Wilder, Bryant Jennings and Chris Arreola...

I don't know if I could pick a standout though because although I like Jennings to beat Arreola, I'd pick Wilder to beat Jennings and Arreola to beat Wilder! Sorta triangle thinking going on with them!

Either Wilder or Jennings. It's still not clear who is better. The next year should reveal a lot about these two fighters. Arreola is pretty much done but I would love to see him matched up against either Wilder or Jennings.

Here's the thing about this guy, he's young and I think they fed him a few more "opponents" and then the tests begin. I don't think they baby this guy at all he has enough amateur bouts behind him and this isn't about selling out some local hall to earn 25 grand!
At least I think that's what's going on with this kid and that's why its interesting as opposed to watching these other guys who would have a tuff time with me at my delicate age now hahahaha!

He has more talent than the others, if he leaves himself open its not from lack of talent. If he continues to weight over 220-225 that's not lack of talent that's lack of focus and desire.
............get my drift? I want to see talented fighters, on the other hand theres Mayweather with all the talent and he fights like a puzzy. I don't want to watch anyone doing half azzed even when they have talent. I damn sure doin't want to watch Cris Arreola or Seth Mitchell they have NO talent!
Nite kids fight amongst yourself's no rabbit shots! Ray

I think Arreola does to Wilder what he did to Seth Mitchell. Less certain about Jennings, although I'd still pick Arreola at this point.

I think some of those guys...Thompson, Jennings, Arreola...are better "boxers" than Wilder, however I think he sparks them all out.

You don't think Arreola lands big on Wilder before Deontay does on him? He's a better boxer, he's got power, I think he takes Wilder out.

I like Arreola to beat all of these guys down.should he lose against Stiverne,he'll struggle getting the top fights again because hes so dangerous.

he has raw power, heart and desire.his shape has been pretty questionable for more than half a decade, but he always turns up game and conditioned to go the 12.i fail to see what there is to dislike about the guy bar his shape, which hasn't really been a factor in his performances since day dot.
