Not like your Cubanos thinking they are worth a lot of money, blame it on Rigos promoter Caribe promotions. Rigo is lucky bob arum did what he did for him
I can't accept that all defensive fighters are boring. Mayweather is defensive and you see his fights because are well promoted. We will see if Santa Cruz will run also when Rigo finalize his contract in a couple of months like the other Mexicans champions are running of Lara and Gamboa

Whether we like it or not professional boxing is about putting butts in seats and eyeballs on TV. It's about entertaining people, whether you do it by making yourself a celebrity like Mayweather did, or Knocking out people like Mike Tyson did. Rigondeaux, Lara, Abril even Mexican Miguel Vasquez simply don't capture people's attention through their fights or personality and as a result get lost in the minds of fans.

My hole point is that when a fighter is counterpuncher and defensive usually promoters are able to compensate this as Mayweather has done for several years. In case of Rigo Aum is still upset with Donaire defeat and is doing everything to make look bad Rigo. Whenever Rigo had a offensive fighter he has knocked, but based always is his counterpuncher style.

On the other hand we can't go a few weeks without hearing from Rigo, Lara and their 9 fans complaining about how they can't get a fight. Heck they need to either change their style and be more fan friendly or take their undercard money and shut up.
