Several years ago when Maidana was mandatory to fight Khan GBP weazled their way round Madana's manager to get him to sign a contract that he would not enforce his mandatory rights for 3 fights or a year whichever was the longest and should he lose one of those fights not to fight Khan at all. To pull off a stunt like that the sanctioning bodies had to be in on it. That is a very elaborate arrangement completely at odds at how things should be. Furthermore Maidana had to go to court to dislodge his manager and go to court to enforce his mandatory rights to get the Khan fight. When you have a history of events like this I don't think it is unreasonable for people to have doubts and it is not ridiculous that some people feel a fix is going on. You say give credit where credit is due but how can you give GBP credit for the disgraceful way Maidana was treated in order to protect Khan.

Lol, why would Collazo take a dive on the biggest stage in boxing? This is the THE marquee boxing event of the year. Millions will see this fight, more will read about it and see it in the news. Collazo could even be in line for a Mayweather fight.

Plus, you can't keep an insane conspiracy like that a secret anymore, not in this day and age. It's funny reading some of the stuff you come across in the NSB, but I really just assume you guys are just trolling, because you can't seriously believe such nonsense.

Khan faced Maidana exactly when he was supposed to. There was no 3 fight or year delay. What are you on about?

I believe you believe that but if you go through past posts here and do some research you will find what I am saying is FACT.

Why don't you just source your evidence? Khan fulfilled his mandatory obligation against Maidana exactly when he was supposed to. Now that's a FACT.

Why would Collazo jeopardise his chances of potentially bigger paydays down the road? And why did he not take a dive against Ortiz?

Why don't you do some research and check your facts before you drop yourself in it? What are you on about? Really comes over as loutish and ignorant.

Here are some facts seeing as you are too idle to your own research yet pompous enough to claim the high ground in the fact stakes.

There is a lot more if you care to do the research but here is a post which shows Team Khan were trying to avoid the fight after Madana had run his 3 fight gauntlet and had to enforce a purse bid.

It wll be interesting to see if you are man enough to accept you are wrong. Like I said I believed you believed you are thought you are right. But when I see the insulting indignant tone of your replies to my post I very much doubt you are capable of doing that. But there is a lot more research you can do if you choose to.

Wait, so that's your source? Gary Shaw? Gary Shaw - Tim Bradley's promoter at the time - saying that Khan was trying to sidestep Maidana? The title of the article literally says "Industry Chatter"....LOL yeah sounds like "FACT" to me.

Let me educate you. Amir Khan got a shot at WBA Champion, Andreas Kotelnik. Dimitri Salita was Kotelnik's mandatory so he was paid step aside money so Khan could fight Kotelnik.

Salita was then Khan's mandatory. Khan knocked him out in 1 round and fulfilled his mandatory obligation. Marcos Maidana then became the next mandatory but Khan was entitled to a voluntary first which he took against Malignaggi. He then fought Maidana in his next fight. So there was no 3 fight or 1 year gap.

Those are FACTS. No "industry chatter". A timeline of events of what happened. Khan faced Maidana when he was supposed to and the fight didn't go to purse bids either.

                      You're welcome.
