Main events does claim they had an agreement for HBO.

Maybe they can ask the NSA for their phone transcript, haha.
I'm sure HBO had that ish recorded for legal purposes

Main Events claim they were told they did have approval from Adonis.

Because GYM said they had their fighter's agreement.
And if he lied about that in contract negotiations, he'll find his ass out of a job and sued

If they are all on the phone including hbo and yvon agrees and then sends an email confirming Adonis agrees, then main events has a pretty solid case

I love how they air the laundry out on twitter... Only in boxing

Pretty soon all fights should be negotiated thru twitter

I'm surprised about how much of it aired out on twitter.... they even got GYM to respond.

They also wanted everyone to go in on Stevenson

Ya, but at the same time even signed documents have been rendered useless. It could go either way. Id doubt it makes the fight happen, which is to bad.

Even if Main Event has all the proof it needs to prove there was an agreement with GYM and Stevenson, it is useless.

Stevenson is 36yo. It would take at LEAST 2 years to get a first instance court to come to a decision. Then there could very well be an appeal. So in 3-4 years, when Stevenson is 40yo, we could have a fight.

In the meantime, both will continue their career, and likely one of them will lose and become irrelevant. Sadly, the Law isn't helpful in this case. And no judge will grant an injunction in this kind of situation.

If he can't fight him in the ring he'll fight him in court. Is this what this has come to? Smh,but I guess it's worth a shot depending on costs.

It won't take that long, plus they can throw an injunction on Stevenson so he can't fight til it's cleared up, which will force him to fight or sit out...

Much like don king withy mayorga...

Hell Andre ward has been in and out of legal proceedings with goosen and each time it gets cleared up pretty quickly only for ward to throw another claim and start the process all over again

If the case is about them having a valid agreement with HBO would there be some sort of injunction preventing them from making one with Showtime?
