I had a feeling this was gonna be big, almost as large as my bidness proposals. Can't wait to start pitching ideas with no returns, so lucrative!

SMH at the instant generation (no offense) - this s#it woulda broken over the course of weeks or months a decade ago, now you're sceptical cos Duva took 24 hours to decide on a course of action?

I'm not convinced ME will win, but perhaps a fight injunction (or even the threat of it) might be enough to get Stevenson back to the table - after all the guy's 36 and can't afford to be tied up in legal issues instead of earning. I'd guess that this is part of Duvas intent.
Fairly sure Duva's daughter is a lawyer, general counsel for Main Events promotions.

IDK about this if there is a contract that was signed but some verbal agreement isn't going to stand just publicly bash Stevenson but messing with Yvon is questionable they still have Pascal who could be an opponent so pissing him off isn't making that happen.

My initial impression with this is that it's as much a PR move as it is a legal one. I don't mind that, Main Events should be embarrassing Stevenson for ducking Kovalev. I just don't see it having any real legal consequences.
On that you're possibly right - there's no real way Stevenson can be forced to fight - at best they can expect some sort of payoff, but even the threat of a fight injunction could bring Stevenson back to the table - at 36 he's not in any position to sit out whilst legal issues are resolved. Furthermore, even a few $100k loss of earnings claim could make the Kovalev fight the more lucrative option than BHop.

Anyways - I was just teasing in my previous post - at 41 I grew up in an era when cell-phones were the size of housebricks and Twitter wasn't even a twinkle in some spotty teenagers eye - I just found it amusing that you cited Duvas hesitation ...I got an odd sense of humour. Forgive.

Lol, why so Stevenson can come up with another excuse after he does? You know, the mayweather way. Not to mention If you had even a simple understanding of how contracts work you wouldn't have to ask that question. But I guess thats to be expected from someone who can't even figure out how to get "Butt hole touched" of his name. SMFH, I feel bad for you

Its sad man, They even brainwash the new fans into thinking thats the way things are supposed to be. These new guys are proud to defend ducking and cough up big money for mismatches.

@Main_Events @hanswolson @ChrisMannixSI @AdonisSuperman but you know we needed to get an HBO deal! You got satisfied with their offer not us

@yvonmichelGYM @hanswolson @ChrisMannixSI @AdonisSuperman We were all on the phone together. You accepted HBO's offer before we did.

@Main_Events @hanswolson @ChrisMannixSI @AdonisSuperman Again you are misleading peoples, I needed to get my fighter's approval!!

@Main_Events @hanswolson @ChrisMannixSI @AdonisSuperman And yes my recommendation was to take it but he requested me to keep negotiating!

@yvonmichelGYM @hanswolson @ChrisMannixSI @AdonisSuperman Weird because we have an email saying you had it. Were you lying then or now?

Whole bunch of crap, then this

                      Yvon Michel ***8207;@yvonmichelGYM 4h
@Main_Events @hanswolson @ChrisMannixSI @AdonisSuperman Ok but this not yet a huge ticket buyers demand!! Not a PPV level yet!!

Their reasoning...is it's not a PPV level fight.

This fight is never going to be PPV level unless they fight each other. Their B.S build up fights won't do crap. This is PPV level in Canada... do it PPV there
Look I know this is NSB but read between the lines, They DO NOT want to fight the guy. Just like Floyd didn't want to fight Pacquiao. These Haymon guys want easy fights for big money. Its a pattern with them at this point.
