I'm assuming Duva had to take a few minutes out to get legal advice - so this is actually pretty damn quick.
SMH at the instant generation (no offense) - this s#it woulda broken over the course of weeks or months a decade ago, now you're sceptical cos Duva took 24 hours to decide on a course of action?
I'm not convinced ME will win, but perhaps a fight injunction (or even the threat of it) might be enough to get Stevenson back to the table - after all the guy's 36 and can't afford to be tied up in legal issues instead of earning. I'd guess that this is part of Duvas intent.Comment

It's not that, she did mention it. But I think it would have been the main thrust of her argument from the get-go if she was really confident that she had a contract. My initial impression with this is that it's as much a PR move as it is a legal one. I don't mind that, Main Events should be embarrassing Stevenson for ducking Kovalev. I just don't see it having any real legal consequences.I'm assuming Duva had to take a few minutes out to get legal advice - so this is actually pretty damn quick.
