Of course Floyd would fight Cotto...he's a blown up welterweight. Don't believe for a second he'd ever fight Martinez or GGG at 160 though.

Sure why not?? 1st fight did 1.5 million..and it would be for the lineal middleweight title.Fight would do huge numbers. And why do people seem to think Roach is better then Pedro Diaz??? Pedro had Cotto looking damn good against Floyd

If Cotto is a blown up welterweight then what is Floyd?

BUT, I think when you consider the fact that Sergio has not only been out for a long period of time but factor into that the injuries which made him take off that time you put him in their against a crafty boxer/puncher like Miguel and you have the makings for in my mind a 60/40 fight. So its not unfathomable that Cotto walks away with the W.
If that does happen ( and depending on Floyd beating Maidana which he does EASILY imo) does Floyd go up to 160 to try to take another belt in yet another weight class? I only ask this bc I feel Floyd wont fight Sergio or GGG but a guy he already beat and who's name is as big in boxing as Cotto's I don't see why you wouldn't do it. But I personally would say it was toughest fight for Floyd ( his own words "Miguel Cotto is toughest guy I ever fought" ) and this time around with a better game plan when Roach is in your corner Id say it gets even tougher for Floyd.
Lol of course that has gayweathers name written all over it.

Not even with a gun to his head. Floyd is a cretin in boxing with zero dignity

By quite a meaningless money making easy title grab if he did so since this Floyd almost certainly he will but will he defend the title against the top rated contender if he won?

He's a guy who's been a welter for 6+ years. Cotto can't handle the guys at 154 and never has fought at 160. What point were u trying to make?

If Floyd is smart he would. Thats the only way he gets a 160 title plus he will have 3 lineal titles simultaneously. Or two not sure if he's the lineal champ in two weight classes or one currently.
