I am one of the few fans who seems to think that Miguel has a chance of upsetting Sergio. CLEARLY id be a moron to think that Miguiel in any way shape or form is going to be the favorite going in bc he most def will not be. BUT, I think when you consider the fact that Sergio has not only been out for a long period of time but factor into that the injuries which made him take off that time you put him in their against a crafty boxer/puncher like Miguel and you have the makings for in my mind a 60/40 fight. So its not unfathomable that Cotto walks away with the W.
If that does happen ( and depending on Floyd beating Maidana which he does EASILY imo) does Floyd go up to 160 to try to take another belt in yet another weight class? I only ask this bc I feel Floyd wont fight Sergio or GGG but a guy he already beat and who's name is as big in boxing as Cotto's I don't see why you wouldn't do it. But I personally would say it was toughest fight for Floyd ( his own words "Miguel Cotto is toughest guy I ever fought" ) and this time around with a better game plan when Roach is in your corner Id say it gets even tougher for Floyd.

If Cotto wins a bogus decision vs Sergio, you can be sure that the reason will be some back-room skullduggery involving Al Haymon and Schaefer, in order to set up a winnable fight for Mayweather to get a middleweight belt.

It'll probably be a 158 catchweight, but Cotto wins that strap, it's the perfect storm of ingredients, as Floyd has talked about a MW strap before.......

If Cotto doesnt pan out, uQuilen may continued to be protected until Floyd makes a decision on if he makes that move

Yes Floyd would move up to fight cotto again, if it's for the lineal mw title..

First fight did big money, and it was a good fight,, rematch for lineal belt in msg possibly would be a huge blockbuster

There's a better chance Alvarez gets that fight, but don't count Mayweather out.

I for one do not care to see a rematch.

The first fight was not good imo, just because Floyd got a bloody nose....he won that fight 9-3 (8-4 if your being generous.)

He won by a wide, convincing margin and convincingly enough that there's nothing Cotto could have done differently to win the fight. He was simply outgunned.

Floyd will make that fight so fast Ellerbe's neck will snap. Easy way to grab the lineal title at 160.

Could easily see it happening. Will be a bit of a joke if it does though as the only way Cotto beats Sergio is if Sergio's totally shot. I'd hate to see anyone become the lineal middleweight champ by that route.
