In both situations HBO identified fights fans wanted to see then instead of giving them to us immediately decided to "build" to them through a series of other non competititve fights like Ward/Rodriguez, GGG/Lee, Stevenson/fonfora and KKK/Agnew.

While I still think its a duck, I agree that the business aspect of boxing is a bit more complicated than people realize.

Boxing is the only sport where this shit happens. Too many hands in the pot so to speak.

The particulars are not exactly the same but HBO didn't make these fights immediately when they could have.

I don't even get what people attacking GGG are trying to get at? There's no evidence for him to get another fight. Literally every champ at 160 is scared/booked.

GGG is taking the one of the most lucrative fights out to be made and is moving a weight class up to do it.(wow what a throwback who actually moves between weight classes anymore?)

GGG haters are trying to get some mythical response from GGG fans when all the GGG fans want is the other fighters to fight our guy.

I never said Golovkin would never fight Ward. Maybe he will. Just like no one knows if Martinez will fight Golovkin. Maybe he will

In the meantime, they both took PPV fights against the most lucrative opponents available so the double standards need to end.

Neither Sergio or Golovkin are scared/ducking.
