Comments Thread For: Williams: I'm Bringing My Conch Punch Against Parker

KEY WEST, Fla. - Battle-tested Bahamian heavyweight Sherman "Tank" Williams (36-13-2, 19 KOs) is returning to Germany to spar three weeks with world heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (61-3, 51 KOs) and then fight highly-touted New Zealand prospect "Explosive" Joseph Parker (7-0, 6 KOs) on April 26 in Oberhauser, Germany.

Williams vs. Parker will be on undercard of a K2 Promotions-presented event, headlined by Klitschko's IBF, WBO, WBA Super and IBO title defense against WBO No. 1 ranked mandatory challenger Alex "The Lionheart" Leapai (30-4-3, 24 KOs). [Click Here To Read More]

He did actually surprise Helenius with that Conch Punch, the only time I´ve seen Helenius wobbled. Parker will have to really work for his W this time if Tank is in shape.

Williams has very likely been paid off. Parkers promoters "Duco Events" are as shady as they come, with connections to the Australian Mafia. A little research into them shows that almost all of their fights are su****ious in some regard.

It's highly unlikely they would send Parker over to germany to fight a motivated williams who has been sparring with Klitschko. There has to be a catch, expect a su****ious "ko" victory for parker

Sigh... Earl quit with the conspiracy theory bull****! Have you watched the kid Parker fight? I have and I think hes a great prospect, I'd rate him above Joshua as the number 1 HW prospect in the world right now..

Whatever you're theorys I've watched all of Parkers victories and I assume that he's been with the promotional outfit from the get go, none of those fights including Botha seemed shady to me! I don't think that a not only limited, but past his sell by date Sherman Williams would be a problem for the kid, let alone a 'pay off' candidate! Don't disparage the kids victories or fights just because he's getting attention!

it seems you think every fight lately is a pay off. Williams is a tough cookie & excellent journeyman for parker to face. parker can punch & he has power. he took out old botha who still can mix it up some even at 45. Williams has a better chin. this is a good fight for both. parker should win & he will get his first taste of a 10 round fight. I would be surprised if it didn't go 10.
