Ah...so you're annoyed with the hyperbole of a few excessive fans (and yes, all fighters have their extremist fans) and allowing that to make you talk like a fool. Are you new to boxing forums?

I'm not quite sure I understand your point - if you are saying that you think JCC jr will win, I agree it'll be a tough fight.

With regards to GGGs popularity however, whatever you think of his fans, the poor f#kker knows all about being ignored - nearly 8 years into his career and he 's only managed to get any recognition in the last 18 months.

I get it though - you're another one who gets annoyed by excessive hyperbole when it's not about your favourite fighter.

Prize fight is the name of the game.
No you jacka$$, cause all top 10 mw passed on multiple offers to fight him. However after Chavez his profile grows so much the risk-reward calculation may change for these guys

martinez can't leave hbo to fight on showtime so those two fights aren't going to happen. the only fight hbo would approve for martinez is ggg

if ggg beats chavez jr he becomes a ppv option and martinez vs ggg becomes a ppv fight. martinez will fight ggg win or lose against cotto. it's his only option.

and for people saying cotto would fight ggg next must be smoking that rock. yeah cotto would turn down a fight with canelo for ggg. on what planet?
Yeah but this is boxing, promoters and managers find all sorts of ways to break out of their contracts, they're a bunch of snakes. Don't be shocked if Martinez (provided he beats Cotto) ends up fighting Canelo on Showtime without facing GGG.

But we'll fight Chavez Jr at 168 doe!
"It's unfair to ask GGG to move up until he's on par with Andre" meaning until he has established himself as a top P4P fighter by cleaning out his division. The Chavez Jr fight is a temporary move up. It's not logical to fight the champ at 168 before you get the chance to fight the champ at 160.

Yep and it's not logical to turn down a fight with Miguel Cotto to fight Gennady Golovkin.
