He'll only get Sergio if Sergio still feels healthy and gets sick of hearing of Golovkin, and he'll only get Cotto if Cotto plays hardball with Mayweather and Alvarez. Neither is very likely.

I can't believe that Chavez at 168 is being viewed as an easy opponent for GGG by so many fans. If Chavez trains properly and turns up fit and motivated he will be a real handfull for a small middleweight like Golovkin. This is a risky fight for GGG. In some ways, more risky than Ward.
Ward isn't a big puncher and doesn't knock many people out. Chavez hits harder and will take the fight to GGG. If he turns out to be too big for GGG to handle, Golovkin will be in a lot of trouble.

GGG shouldn't bother trying to go after Chavez
MW is clearly his to take over right now
don't see any of the other titlists beating him
he has to legitimize his run there with some good fights
by all rights he deserves Martinez after Cotto gets KO'd
but Martinez is already talking retirement like we knew he would
hopefully he gets his shot but doubting it will happen
