If Martinez wins he will just duck GGG again.

Correct. If Ward accepted the 50/50 split, the fight would have been made. As it is, ChavezJr. probably pays more compared to a Ward fight even @ 50/50 split.

don't you people realize martinez has a two fight deal with hbo.

cotto is one of those fights and martinez still has one fight left on his contract. maybe you all forgot but mayweather is with haymon and has a contract with showtime and canelo with gbp and therefore on showtime

martinez can't leave hbo to fight on showtime so those two fights aren't going to happen. the only fight hbo would approve for martinez is ggg

if ggg beats chavez jr he becomes a ppv option and martinez vs ggg becomes a ppv fight. martinez will fight ggg win or lose against cotto. it's his only option.

and for people saying cotto would fight ggg next must be smoking that rock. yeah cotto would turn down a fight with canelo for ggg. on what planet?

canelo isnt going to fight lara. lara is going to fight ishe smith. ishe smith is a defensive fighter fighting a counter puncher in lara that's going to equal a really boring fight so casual fans won't be excited about lara at all.

by fighting smith gbp is basically putting lara to sleep

I reckon GGG will have his hands full with a close to 200 pound Chavez to deal with..

Chavez Jr definitely pays more than Ward.

Just like Cotto pays waaaaay more than GGG.

GGG is doing what Sergio did - take the highest paying fight.

So why do GGG fans make themselves look like morons by criticising Sergio?

Sergio and GGG are both middlewights and they should fight to find out who the best is.

Ward is a SMW calling out the smaller guy.

                      Can you see the difference?
