The Next Weekend

I'll be watching this one the next weekend when it's free. GGG, and Chaves are clearly ducking Ward. GGG said he wanted to unify before moving up in weight, but then they move up and fight Chavez?? And compelling fight, why because of his last name?? This kid Chavez has stepped up the competition once in his career, and lost 11 1/2 rounds to Martinez. Ward is the Lineal Super Middleweight Champ. It doesn't get more compelling than that. On top of that Wards resume is better than both of these guys combined!

The man fought and beat Kessler, Alan Green, Bika, Abraham, Froch, Dawson in that order, and topped it off by beating an undefeated and very game Edwin Rodriguez. Challenge himself? Who has GGG fought? Y'all are so biased it's disgusting. But Stevenson is ducking Kovalev right? SMH.

Difference between y'all and me is I hate objectively. Im hating on GGG for the sake of this post but if u read my history and hear me speak of him, im the BIGGEST fan and live for his epic post fight interviews! Looking forward to him and another fighter I love JCC JR, like I genuinely love the fkn guy but his team is ducking Ward, talking ****, and you all are allowing it and defending it. Than at the same time you same folk are calling Stevenson a duck for doing the same thing by trying to set himself up for a "big name" fight with Hopkins. Stop being so fcuking biased.

I call Mayweather out on his bull**** too, iv'e been very vocal about him taking the Maidana fight and not Khan (whom would give him much more trouble than Maidana IMO) because i WANT to see one of my favorite fighters take on the best names. It's hard for me not to call him a duck sometimes because some things I just cant defend. I hate on Pacman, Marquez, hated on Mosley, hate on Canelo, I hate on ppl when they need to be hated on and I do not defend bull****. I treat each case for what it is and this is a blatant case of team GGG ducking Ward. It would be refreshing to hear the truth spoke on this site.

Reasons like this is why you see talks of racism come up on this site, because there is no other logical way to conclude how you all can go sooooo hard at a fighter like Adonis (Black) yet treat Genady (white) like a God for doing the exact same sort of thing for the exact same sort of reasoning. GGG's case is even worse because he is going up to a weight class his team said he would not go to for a ward fight due to wanting to clean out the division first. Cmon guys.. it's hard to not feel there is a serious racial discrimination happening when bullshat like this is going on.

Anyone care to chime in for a "rational" debate about the issue? Im chaaaarged right now!

Ward is a great fighter. A TOP 3 P4P in my opinion. Nobody should deny his skill. My problem with him is his inactivity. As a boxing fan (as opposed to being his father or brother or son) I want to see him fight 3-4x a year hopefully fighting top ranked fighters in at least 2-3 of those fights.

Ward hasn't been active since ... (just went to boxrec) 2009. He fought 2x in 2010, 2x in 2011, 1x in 2012 and 1x in 2013. As a fan I don't give a rat's a$$ about him maximizing his pay check on each and every fight.

So I'm criticizing him for his inactivity. Maybe he doesn't care now but after he retires he may wonder why people aren't rating him as highly as other ATGs - and that will be because he hasn't fought enough. Hasn't cleared out his division. Clearing out the division means more than fighting the big names - but beating other "lesser" ranked contenders as well.

Styles make fights and upsets happen.
