Baring in mind this was in the amateurs and both fighters have increased their skill levels tremendously since. In Matthysses defence he did look very young and amateurish in this fight, his defence is much more tighter now and his arsenal of punches is greatly improved also.

I think if Matthysse could hurt Maidana he could probably stop him, but if it went the distance Maidana probably gets the decision.
