Shotime has had 3 PPV fights in 2 years, and I believe 4 total in like 6 years. Your logic is a little backwards. You wont see Brian Kenny unless its a big fight, and he was there for atleast 8 fights. And that is only after April of 2013. Guess the definition of rare has changed.
Do you SubScribe To HBO, Showtime, or Both? Will You Switch or Drop HBO Soon?

Showtime's plan of making tons of money off of Mayweather fights didn't materialize. They spent more than they made. Do the math and start from Mayweather's guarantee. Then the expensive undercards. Then Access ala 24/7 which was produced by amateurs. Hehe... remember that scene on Guerrero being blessed by a priest? WTF is that? Then the statewide tour, the live weigh in, etc., all require millions of cash to throw away.
How many decent non-PPV fights have you seen after the Canelo/Money Mayweather fight? Broner/Maidana was the only decent fight they were able to make. And it's been a year. Subscribers are not happy.Comment

If they drop boxing, I drop them. That simple.
Programming and fidelity continue to improve on the web. I don't see that trend reversing any time soon.Comment

Yeah, that's why I said Showtime is now doing what HBO used to do but the guy I said that to is flip flopping on every point.Comment

Showtime just has a bunch of damn paper fighters and paper broadcasters. Funny. They used to be my favorite over HBO. Now it's the other way around. But look at who's in charge. Former HBO jerkoffs. No surprise.
Tyrion would knock out all Showtime welterweights.Comment

This isn't a network vs network thing. I don't care what channel boxing is on as long as it is on. I have HBO and Showtime.
However, HBO doesn't appear as committed as they have since, well, they got into the boxing game. Their budget has continually dropped since the early 2000's and this year alone they have lost fights because they were unwilling to pay for in Froch vs Groves, Areolla vs Stiverne, Stevenson vs Fonfara, and that likely makes Stevenson a Showtime fighter for good.
At some point you have to ask yourself, is the $10,$15, $20, sometimes $25 you have to pay for an HBO subscription (dependent on discounts, cable providers, etc) worth it to see 1 fight a month. and a possibly continually dwindling boxing selection.
So out of interest, I ask you if you would potentially drop HBO at some point if their boxing schedule and roster continues to dwindle?
***Let's not take into account the great shows on HBO, I want this to b how you feel about their boxing lineup.
*** You can vote twice.
yea im with that guy who said you dont have either of these channels to be posting this ****** crap.
at people giving up game of thrones, watching movies, true detective because some douche on the internet doesnt like hbo's boxing programing.
