I said that Showtime and HBO are not the only networks out there.Roy Jones went over seas numerous times to fight and got paid over a million to fight one of the cruiserwieghts.And the fights was not broadcast by HBO or Showtime.

Roy has been free falling for years and he has to travel to those places to get fights because they want to use his name.

You're comparing him to Bernard Hopkins, who not only has a hand in GBP, but is a current champion and one of Showtimes biggest draws?

Why in the hell would Hopkins do what RJJ is doing and make far less, far far less than he is now?

You're acting like RJJ is running those networks, naw he's looking for fights and getting it from foreign fighters who want to exploit his name for their resume

Because if Kovalev chose Hopkins,Hopkins would have went out his way to make the fight so he don't lose his belt.And if that mean`t fighting on another network then so be it.Hopkins did not have a exclusive contract with Showtime,and Kovalev did not have a exclusive contract with HBO.And Hopkins said that if the IBF ordered that they have to fight then he would fight him.Its Kovalev that chose Cleverly despite being mandatory challenger to Hopkins IBF belt.I have no problem with that,my problem is the double standards from these Kovalev groupies.

Just a bunch of foreigners backing their fighters vs American fighters nothing new.

Hopkins and Golden Boy had no intention of making Hopkins-Kovalev. They said some **** about Showtime not being interested in the Kovalev fight. Oh please

Hopkins said that Showtime wanted no part of "Frankenstein Fight" referring to Kovalev.

Hopkins ducked Andre Ward too.



HBO wanted Chavez vs Ward on PPV but Ward has promotional issues with Goosen that have kept him out of the ring.

HBO went to its big cash cows:

1.Pacman vs Bradley--the second biggest fight in boxing that everyone wanted.

2.Segio vs Cotto--an excellent fight !!! Can you say WAR?

&

3.Chavez vs Sergio--another awesome fight that has WAR written all over it !!!

3 great fights and HELL yes I'll buy all 3.

GBP has the Floyd fight with a pretty good undercard.
