I'll have to go with MAB. Only because I think that he has more skills that JC. I don't know if MAB will ko him but I know he can pull off a win.

When Chavez fought Levander it reminded me of PAC, just constantly coming forward and throwing punches. Chavez is strong and relentless, i hope he isnt affected by the loss of LJ, because i really think he can knock out barrera.

Thanks. Anyone starting to notice a trend here? With the exception of Pacquiao-Morales, and possibly Mosley-Vargas or De la Hoya-Mayorga, the best fights are being shown on HBO and Showtime, not PPV. Lacy-Calzaghe on Showtime, Barrera-Chavez on HBO, Bell-Mormeck on Showtime, Corrales-Castillo III on Showtime, Freitas-Raheem on one of the two, and a slew of other good fights are being broadcast on these two networks. This is the reason I keep the movie channels. They're broadcasting Toney-Rahman, as well. Margarito-Gomez, Johnson-Hall, and a bunch of other fights I'd like to see, but won't pay for, should follow suit. Mayweather-Judah falls into the bull**** category, also. Sorry to ramble- off the subject a little...

Unfortunately, I could definitely see that happening. That's why I'm picking Chavez by SPLIT decision. I don't think he'll dominate, and Barrera has a great chance to win, but I think he'll win maybe 8 rounds to 4, or 7-5. However, at least one judge will screw it up. I just hope that if that's the scenario, that only one judge screws it up.

This almost smells like upset, but im a go with Barrera i think he is more durable and Chavez looked fat not too long ago which means he hasnt really been trying to stay fit.

                  Chavez by late TKO.

Barrera won't be able to deal with the activity level and overall strength of Chavez. He also won't hurt him...

Barrera struggles with high energy, relentless guys like this. Pacquiao, Jones, Valbuena. Difference being Chavez is bigger and stronger than those guys and will walk through a lot of Barreras punches.

I will take bets on this fight...especially people saying Barrera will KO/TKO Chavez.

I'm taking Chavez by decision in a war. Barrera isn't going to handle the pressure and strength of Chavez. This isn't an upset in my eyes either.

I'd go with Barrera by decision here, but I can definitely see Chavez pulling off the win as well, providing he's not adversely affected by the death of Johnson.
