This is like a Top Rank undercard but without a main event.

Showtime blew their money last year so they have to set up mismatches/cheap fights.

Man, Matthysse will break that man in a very depressing way. It's a mismatch.

So golden boy signed that kid who was undefeated and he took his first lost and that "crushed their plans"? I love boxing with all my heart but it's sad where the sport is today...u have to be undefeated to even get signed or have a future now?

I know 2 people who r very good boxers and both suffered their first lost by decision not even a ko and 1 was dropped from dibella and the other lost his opportunity to sign wit dibella because he lost...like wtf is going on? Do they really expect to have a full roster of undefeated fighters???

The only bout that interests me is Molina's...Thurman's is trash & Figueroa I have no interest in, really....But if Figueroa hurts his hands again, this could b career ending, IMO...hands don't get better, even w/surgery...

how is a "world champ" in Omar Figueroa allowed to fight a guy who's never fought at 135 and is 2-3 in his last 5 fights? this is a BS card, golden boy and showtime are running out of viable options

thurman vs diaz? cmon man diaz has done a nice job in his last few fights but he hasnt won any of them and won't win this fight.

john molina isn't bad but would be a hell of a lot better opponent for Omar Figueroa but thats how boxing works. easy showcase fights for the A SIDE.

belmontes is a nice skilled little boxer but he's never fought above 130 and is 2-3 last 5 outings. no a very good look for your first defense
