I'm not a fan of Ward because I think he lacks confidence in himself. You can tell just by the way he fights...he holds and should have been deducted points and possibly even disqualified vs Froch. He was the only competitor in the 168 pound tourney who didn't leave his home country for one fight. He fought one time outside of Oakland if I'm not mistaken. He's not in my top 5 pound for pound...I still remember him getting hurt by bums early in his career...so his chin is still suspect to me...I want to see him challenge himself outside of his comfort zone or else he will never be a PPV star.

I'm not a Ward fan either... But Dre is very intelligent and he is a very gifted athlete... He got his right shoulder injured when he was 12 years of age -- therefore he never developed a decent right hand punch and was forced to adopt an inverted southpaw stance... He fought hard to hide this, but the overall outcome can't be hidden...

Well he refused to fight Froch outside of the U.S. Ward is an insecure, boring fighter who will never be a PPV star unless he takes some risks js.

Ward would avoid Kovalev at all costs, Ward knows Kovalev would inevitably knock him out.

Well, considering Ward is an HBO fighter Kovalev holds the only LHW title Ward can win now that Stevenson is off to Showtime.

Damn ****ty connection. Ward is the second best fighter in the world. You guys need to show some respect. He's beat everyone put in front of him. Notable opponents who mostly got dominated. Give me a ****ing break.

3 years ago. What's he done since 2011?

Letmetellyousomethingbro, I'm one of Ward's biggest fans on boxingscene. But I call a spade, a spade. Andre Ward has cleaned out 168, with an iron fist. There's nothing left there. As a fan I've campaigned for him having the number 1 pfp spot based on what he did. Then years and years past and I'm hearing him talking about middleweights, fighters he's already beaten and no-hopers. I don't defend that kinda $h!t.
