I'd rank Sturm's duck ahead of Stevensons.

Sturm had GGG sign to his promotional company, made him fight nobodies while GGG was mandatory and paid $750,000 to the WBA to not enforce the GGG fight!

Bowe's duck wasn't that impressive he just threw the belt in a trash can. Stevenson and Sturm's ducks were so elaborate they got to keep their belts!

Bowe just trashed his belt. He made no BS. He just didn't want Lummox. Sturm did his ducks much more subtle and he managed to pull it off for years! Terrific ducks in their own ways.

Bowe ducked Lewis but lost his title in the process.

Stevenson found a way to remain champion, execute his strategic avoidance and still have a chance to unify 2 more alphabet titles without fighting the guy who most boxing heads feel is the best fighter in his division.

All of the ducks throughout boxing history must have tears in their eyes.

Its definitely a clear duck/strategic avoidance but I cant say Kovalev is the best in the division he really hasn't fought a stiff enough test yet.

It's the same argument used when people argue Tim Bradley didn't duck Khan. He went somewhere to fight someone else who was just as good/better.

Okay, fine, but that doesn't change that they ducked Khan and Kovalev. They didn't fight Pacquiao/Hopkins immediately, they had to wait.
