HBO declining to overpay for haymon fighters who don't deserve it, and instead Showtime just took HBO's place.

But now that haymon has something like 50 fighters, Showtime doesmt have the budget to pay all of these guys haymons crazy demands.

I'm glad HBO is sticking to there guns. I never thought I'd see that day.

Me too, everybody signs with him and hopes to get million dollar purses but where is the money supposed to come from? Especially with him having so many fighters now.

Won't pay for Stevenson-Fonfara.... although I think they don't want to without a guarantee Kovalev is next.

HBO didn't want to pay him without a guarantee that he would face Sergey next. Stevenson wouldn't face Sergey next if HBO didn't give him big bucks for fonfara. Stevenson gets to go get the money he wants with Showtime. After that fight, there should be no issue for the fight to be made, as HBO has expressed they are still willing to work with Adonis. On May 25th, the ball is in Stevenson's hands.

Nice to see them stick to their guns. I'm guessing the deal with Haymon was a mere bluff. It's fake. I expect Karma will descend upon these shady characters.
