If Sergio retires after beating Cotto, proof he doesn't have the balls to fight GGG?

Saying golovkin is a no name... well if he goes up and fights Chavez jr, who's probably the more profitable fighters in the higher weightclasses, then goes back down, that's leverage to make the fight.

They can bypass the Rubio mandatory with a unification
GGG is already a big name, 1.5 million viewers his last HBO fight, higher ratings than Chavez Vera II.

Quit thinking of boxers as gods and you'll stop with these ****** arguments, expecting a nearly retired fighter to endlessly face the new contenders.

Haven't we had a define number 1 and 2 and WW 147 for years and they still haven't fought?
Sorry, but the blueprint has been made for Sergio

i don't have a problem with the #1 and #2 mw having a fight. But if you can go to 168 to fight chavez jr, you can fight ward at 168 too.

lou dibella has all but gone on the record saying that he's keeping sergio out of the ring with golovkin because he's at the end of his career, and he doesn't need to take that kind of punishment. he can make more money fighting miguel cotto. if you're sergio, those are the fights you want.

somebody can dig the interview up if he pleases.

golovkin and martinez will never fight. golovkin will almost surely go down as the better middleweight. he would have been favored if they fought last year or this year.

i think golovkin knocks sergio out in his absolute prime. prime sergio would probably let his hands go and bust golovkin's face up a bit. golovkin would be able to take the punches, though, and his jab and pressure would eventually get to martinez. once golovkin had him tired, which is a staple of every sergio fight, he'd stop him.

It's too easy with them. They'll swear up and down that their guy ain't going for the money fights.. ahem, Chavez Jr.

He won't fight him. He'll move back down and avoid it.

GGG and Sergay are in the same division. GGG has always stated Martinez is his goal. Chavez fight won't happen this year I'm telling you. Read in between the lines with Bob Arum.
You're telling me? Ahhh, my mind's at ease now. Thanks for confirming that, friend
