He's said recently that he feels good and that his knee is strong and also that he would fight Golovkin afterwards... I think basically what he's meaning is he just doesnt know how he will be physically after he goes through this training camp and Cotto fight, if he comes out fine he will fight Golovkin.

I wonder if Martinez would really face GGG or actually move down to jr. middle to face Mayweather or even a catch weight fight with Manny. That would be good for him considering he is up there in age. It would be deserving for his good career. I actually don't think it was a duck if he didn't fight GGG.

Around the same time Martinez said this, he also said he has to fulfill his HBO contract, which has two fights left. It sounds like he is saying he plans to at least have two more fights in order to fulfill his contract.
