The Pac who fought Cotto wouldn't be bullied. He was the midget bully from hell.

Every fighter declines. Its not just manny, **** fighters age and the human body takes a toll. One thing is for sure, even if manny has declined he will still beat and will make little floydie duck from him.

Manny is clearly declined it's no point in even arguing that.....

What should be argued is how long the decline has been evident, and IMO the decline started far before we really even noticed, he blitzed the HOF Barrera fight 1, contrary to fight 2, where he struggled and some can argue that fight could have went either way...............

Pacquiao has definitely declined. And I thought the Rios bout was a real "eye-opener." Maybe it was rust, maybe it was just him being tentative, but I saw a guy who looked like Pacquiao in the ring. He resembled him, fought like him, and even managed to look impressive. Yet...something was missing. As if the fighter that night was just a really good imitation.

I remember after Felix Trinidad lost to Bernard Hopkins, he took some time off and then fought ex-champ Hacine Cherifi, who he KO'ed in four. While everyone touted the KO and announced that Felix Trinidad was "back", one Roberto Duran noted that Trinidad wasn't the same, that his "eyes" had changed. I believe that, even moreso than the lost of speed and reflex (he has lost a little but there is still PLENTY left), Manny Pacquiao's "eyes" have changed.

People say Manny has declined since the evisceration of Antonio Maragarito so let us look at his fights since then:

2011 Shane Mosley- He won 11 of 12 rounds with the only round being lost involving a false knock down. The Iron Jawed Warrior Mosley was put down very very hard by a left hand early in the fight. Only the second time in his career Mosley had been down.

2011 Juan Manuel Marquez- Great performance by Marquez. Manny lost 8-4 and was outboxed for the majority of the fight but benefited from the robbery decision.

2012 Timothy Bradley- Great performance by Manny who won 9-3 by my score, but unfortunately was robbed himself this time. People over look the fact that Manny conclusively beat a guy who is now no. 3 p4p, a top level guy.

2012 Marquez 4- What a fight. As Nacho Beristain said, the hard right hand that knocked Manny down early "awakened the beast". Manny's killer instinct returned and he was winning until he got his lights turned out.

2013 Brandon Rios- Beautiful outboxed a lesser opponent. Sensational whooping

As you can see the decline just is not there. Pacquiao is still a top 2 P4P talent and the beast shall return for a few last throw downs, mark my words.
I completely agree. I remember thinking after the Rios fight, "Pacquaio is still number 2, who else is better than him?" I never told anyone else because they might call me a fanboy. But to me he is still Number 2 behind only mayweather, who seems to have no interest in fighting him.

He hasn't declined and he will take on a top level opponent soon, Mayweather will not take on another top level opponent without a fixed fight. It will be a sad day for true boxing fans when Pacquiao retires,he's a great fighter, a great man and a statesman to boot.

In the Rios fight he was pushing with his punches, it was like his joints or ligaments tightened up, similar thing happened to Lucian Bute in his comeback fight, it could mean two things, age or ring rust both guys haven't fought in a long long time.

But I saw a short clip of Pac sparring and it seems his spar mates are told to go easy on him, they barely even punch his chin, I think Roach knows Pacman chin is glass. Pac is moving and circling his sparmats and just throwing single or double shots and moving.

He has slowed down, but that KO also changed his style.

So you admit yourself that he lost two of his last four fights yet you still feel he hasn't declined? LOL. Hell even the wins over Bradley & Rios were un-entertaining/boring which can't be said for the "old" Manny. The dude just flat out doesn't have "it" anymore and if you expect anything differently in the next Bradley fight you're in for a rude awakening.

For sure. But his speed and reflexes are still incredible. But even that little loss will hurt his defense. One thing I did notice was that he was quite crafty against Rios; doing little things that only a vet would do. Nevertheless I'm still picking Bradley over him. But if Bradley is in top form and comes to fight...and Pacquiao beats him impressively, I hope everyone stands up and salutes one of the finest fighters of our lifetime. It would be quite the victory.l
