Um, no. The the name of the game is boxing; you know, the sport where people look at two fighters perform. If a fighter performs well in defeat, his stock will rise. For example Cotto's loss against Mayweather did more for his career than his victory over Gomez.

Is jayblack, Larry's dupe? Don't often run across people who can't distinguish between lose and loss.

Johnny Nelson lost his first 5 fights. Orlando Salido was 6-5-1.

                    Specifically speaking id say Marquez-Pac.

                      Marquez vs Pacquiao

Marquez losing made him more hungry to beat Pacquiao and he made the adjustments by studying the previous fights to beat him.
