sven ottke was dominant during his era...oh wait it was the same era that calzaghe was in. well this is awkward...
Mate, yer fackin say one more fackin thing about fackin Joe and I'll fackin find you and shove me fackin guitar up yer fackin bum!!! Say it to me fackin face in fackin Newbridge yer fackin ****!!
ward's clearly better than calzaghe at 168 and i hate ward. he beat calzaghe's best opponent with ease, he beat froch who is better than anyone calzaghe fought there and he beat all 3 of the current champs.
Ward obviously is the only one in position to surpass Calzaghe at one point or another, but he will not stay at 168 long enough to do it.
I'm no Calzaghe ball rider but he did have 20 defenses and held the title for the better part of a decade. After he unified, he wrapped up the #1 spot pretty handily.
Ward has a great resume but the win over Kessler was not as reguarded as Joe's because it was no longer a prime undefeated Kessler on his home turf.
agreed. manfredo, mger mtchkian, will mcintyre, tocker pudwill, juan carlos giminez ferrari, branko sobot, mario veit twice, evans ashira, miguel angel giminez, david starie, rick thornberry.
He whooped a prime Hopkins from pillar to post and that makes him a genuine all time great and definitely the best to ever grace the super middleweight division.
Hopkins was still great but he was nowhere close to his prime.
I do however think that was a great win seeing as how Bernard has gone on to do more amazing things afterwards.
