Martinez has said before he didn't want to fight past 40. I think he will at the very least honor his HBO contract.

he fights Cotto and should he win he'll face GGG if GGG can beat Chavez if they fight.

people think Chavez is an easy fight for GGG but he isn't.

Chavez jr will be the stronger guy in the ring period. he'll be a freak'n cruiserweight on fight night. they have weight classes for a reason.

the glove controversy with Golovkin won't be an issue in a potential Chavez fight because Juilo will be the A side and Bob Arum will be calling the shots not K2.

No doubt the fight will be in Texas so Chavez won't be tested and he'll have the refs and the judges on his side.

it think it will be a great fight but it isn't an easy win for Golovkin.

Chavez Jr. vs Golovkin is definitely a step up (both in class and size) for Golovkin. But Chavez Jr. didn't do anything in his last fight to show that he could beat Golovkin. He's a good fighter, but I didn't like his inability to drop Vera.

Maybe he knows when to walk away but what he doesn't know for sure is how to shut his mouth up.

re padded gloves? can you explain this about ggg?

i think "maravilla" is telling the fans he will quit rather than face triple GGG

GOOD! Get Your Walking Shoes Found; Ur Done After Cotto Stops You

Cotto will stop Sergio, and Sergio will never fight GGG, so prepare for your retirement after this timely beatdown. Cotto still has too much game for a shot, injury prone Sergio Martinez. 4 or 5 years ago would have been a different story; not today. Gennady will dismantle Chavez Jr shortly and that leaves GGG and Canelo and Sergio isn't going to wait around to fight either, and rightfully so. So let's not talk about a 40 year old Martinez like he's the same guy as before the Chavez fight.

Right. Cotto, who couldn't hurt Austin Trout, is going to knock out the middleweight champion of the world. He's going to knock out a guy who's taken much harder punches from much bigger punchers like Pavlik and Chavez without being knocked out. Something tells me Chavez's punches, almost all of which had no effect on Martinez, are much harder than Cotto's.
