calzaghe's slappy punches scratched up roy's face but did he punch through his face? no. i think calzaghe would do some superficial damage to the bag's surface but no he wouldn't be able to get through it.

Calzaghe busted up Roy because by that stage Roy was a washed-up has-been. Isn't it funny that in Roy's next fight after Calzaghe he was stopped within a round by a journeyman? Who are Calzaghe fans kidding?

Calzaghe is a fine example of Frank Warren's managerial skills. Added with the Calzaghe's inherent obsession with cherry-picking, you get a 46-0 record. Great stuff to man on the street. But a clear fraud to the boxing hardcore.

Calzaghe messed up everyone he fought. Why people don't think he could punch, I don't know, go ask Kessler, Lacy, Jones and BHOP how hard he punched because he either busted them to pieces or had them faking low blows and injuries to catch their breath because he was that much better than they were.
