I lke Golovkin vs. Chavez, jr for the simple fact that Chavez, jr. was pushed in his last two fights by Vera (who had his best wins at 154); Golovkin is a natural middleweight who boxes, moves, and arguably punches better than Chavez, jr.

I have little interest in the this fight for some reason. I think GGG should pass and remain at 160 and try to line up Martinez-Cotto. Chavez should go after the Froch-Groves winner, you know a fighter actually his own size.

He gets notoriety, money and a PPV date against one of the best current HBO guys ratings wise

Fights a month after Sergio/Cotto, so if Sergio or Cotto still want to make a fight afterwards, it's still doable with a better fight under his belt

Now let me ask you. Who has Golovkin beat? And what has he done? Not to talk **** but honestly. What recognizable top fighter has golovkin beat? Proska? A blown up rosado? Common man.
