i dont think Thurman is with Haymon but it doesn't matter Hayman is an adviser/manager he can not promote fights, so Thurman and Guerrero can still fight because they are both promoted by GBP, however Guerrero already turned down that fight so I dont expect to see it.

Haymon does not pay any purses because he is an adviser/manager. he does not promote fights. Al Haymon gets paid by Fighters to advise during or manage negotiations for big fights.

All the fighters who sign with him are promoted by promotional companies. So the Ghost who was already offered very good fights then decided to turn down those fights, attempted to sue GBP and obviously should fire his lawyer. Now the Ghost STill promoted by GBP, is being advised by Al Haymon whos going to advise the ghost to take those fights that were already offered to him by GBP. so it all works out in the end I guess, meanwhile Haymon gets another few million. lmao hes a genius.
I thought Al was to make sure you get the win you know some Mafia strong arm. You don't hand him some of your purse you get robbed

That's why fights are not getting made. GBP fighters want huge amounts of money especially when the opponent is a named fighter. Showtime can only offer the equivalent of undercard money at HBO. Berto-type deals are over for the Haymon/Schaefer team.

Showtime is supposed to make truckloads of money from Mayweather fights. But they have to spend astronomical sums to promote his fights, then support him with strong undercards, which cost another extra millions. Not to mention Floyd's $50+ million. Bottom line is fights between "stars" are extremely hard to make these days.

Schaefer/Haymon will eventually ruin boxing. Fighters want to get paid more and fight less. Guerrero, Matthysse, Khan, etc., have been on a long layoff.
