It's not Wlad's chin, as much as it is his mental weakness.

The man just isn't a natural, instictive fighter. He panics when gotten to.
Look at him in his fights with Sanders & Brewster....look what happened to him. He was like a ragdoll. His defense became amateurish. When he is unable to think about what he's doing, he can't do anything. He can't even fire back respectably. His vaunted offense goes south on him, as well.

How in the world anyone can predict that Wlad would beat guys that've already KO'd his ass is beyond me. Wlad may be a better boxer than the aforementioned guys, but with his weak ass chin, a win is NEVER a sure thing. This guy could dominate 11.5 rounds against the best guys in the world, and one good shot, and poof!!! It's over... Wlad is definitely not underrated. He is one of the most overrated boxers in the world. Like I said, he is very skilled, but he is capable of getting KO'd every time he steps in the ring.
