Garcia was clearly thumbing Matthysse's eyes from round 1, it just finally puffed up in the 7th round. Poor Matthysse was against all odds from the start. In fact, Matthysse wasn't punching as hard as he did against Peterson and Dallas, which leads me to believe he was paid to throw soft punches. Rewatch the 3 fights and tell me Matthysse wasn't punching softer against Garcia. Coincidence that he had signed with Haymon to get that fight + he's a GBP fighter, + Danny is the fighter with the 0 and the potentially bigger fanbase?
