I tend to agree with you. It seems that the last few guys on the list are always questionable.

The only glaring thing is Golovkin, I will be interested to see how many people are up in arms about that in comparison to some recent guys who got put on the list prematurely (hopefully by not naming names it won't hijack the thread).

I also don't rate heavies P4P but if someone does then Wlad certainly has to be there so I can't really fault that, in fact he would probably be a bit low.

Hopkins you have an argument over Garcia and Canelo.

I mean Mauricio Herrera is a good fighter and all but not someone who is one of the 10 best fighters on the planet should lose to. Karim Mayfield beat him comfortably.

it's a solid list I guess for ESPN.

But basically with pound for pound lists they all look like this:

            1. Mayweather
            2. Ward
3-10. Who do I like the best in this order?

Especially when you get in that 8-10 range

I think Rigondeaux should be a little higher, Ward a little lower, and Golovkin and M. Garcia shouldn't even be on there. Move everyone else up and slots 9 and 10 should go to Saul Alvarez, Erislandy Lara, Roman Gonzalez, or Miguel Vazquez. I wouldn't have a problem with mixing and matching any of those 4 for the last 2 spots.

Edit: I forgot about Carl Froch, he could battle for spots 9 and 10 too.

Only nine out of ten panelists have Rigo in the top 10. I'm pretty sure Dan Rafael didn't put him in his top 10.

Teddy Atlas is probably the one who has him #3.

Good observation. I hadn't noticed that. And good guesses, too. lol

I think Golovkin should definitely not be on the list. He lacks the resume. As for Garcia, I'm a huge fan of his but I think he needs one more significant victory to be top 10.

It's gotta be Rafael. I don't think he's gotten over the Donaire loss.
