Speed is power, and Mayweather has a lot more than Chino. So yeah, Floyd hits juts as hard, if not harder than Maidana. Floyd's been fighting bigger dudes as well.

Dont yall ever get tired of the cliched one liners. Speed is NOT power. Paulie Malignaggi has good speed and no power. You may be referring to a punch you dont see hurts more or has a better chance of hurting you because you havent had a chance to brace for it. But, thats more a question of tactics and angles than speed. There's plenty of fighters out there that have speed but their punches can still be braced against. Maidana, as is famously regurgitated ad nauseam around here, does not have game changing speed, but he managed to catch Broner unawares with tactics, timing, and angles.
