Comments Thread For: Maidana Focused on Cracking Mayweather To The Ribs

He then hooked up with Garcia and scored four solid wins - including a dominant decision over previously undefeated Adrien Broner.

And then after he fights Thurman and beats him will you be content or will you throw in another "quick" fighter for Floyd to fight?

People act like knowing what an opponent plans to do means the end of the world for that opponent. It's boxing not wrestling...all you need to do is slip up once and it's over for the best of the best and the warriors amongst warriors. Let's hope to god they are working him through jabbing to follow up with his better punches, cutting off the ring and how to counter the forearm move Floyd does when pressed too hard. He's gotta come in there looking better than he's ever looked not just physically but just going through varying rhythms and not get lulled into a rhythm that fits Floyd best. If he can manage that we will have a great fight if not it'll be guerrero 2.0. The one punch Maidana has I can see Floyd having a problem with is that looping left of his if he can sneak it behind something and catch Floyd on a lean..things could get hella interesting.
