IMO...Cotto should box & move so he can test that knee a little bit. If he fights like he did in his last fight I think he gets beat up pretty bad. I don't want a ton of back peddling but a lot of 3 to 4 punch combos & turning so Martinez has to pivot a lot more putting more stress on his knee. I don't really care who wins but I would love to see Cotto fight with a great game plan.

If Sergio's knees hold up then this is very possible.

Honestly this fight is going to be determined on Sergio's fragile old body. Lol

        everybody knows this except Cotto
actually, Cotto probably does know it
he's likely planning to just run away as long as he can
gonna be surprised if Cotto sees rd 7 in this
Martinez is a ho for this fight and even worse if he don't KO Cotto

Yet another outburst from Sergio and his team while cotto is enjoying his life at Knicks games and game of throne premiers. Big fights nothing new to cotto, Just another day at the office for him. Martinez and his team don't stop talking, which proves they are nervous. Can't believe no one is giving cotto a chance to win this. I say cotto TKO inside of 6.. don't forget where you heard it first people

Yeah I agree with you in the bolded part. Martinez is past his prime and this fight will show it.

this fight entirely depends on Martinez's health.

if Martinez is healthy I don't see Cotto last longer than 5 or 6 rounds.

Roach won't help Cotto either because if Cotto comes out aggressive he's going to walk into something big and get dropped. once Cotto is hurt he'll start to back peddle fight of his back foot and basically when Cotto does that it's over.

a healthy Martinez just has too many advantages. he's a bigger puncher at 160, he's faster and has better movement. a skilled bigger man will always beat a skilled smaller man.

if Martinez isn't healthy and can't move than Cotto has a real chance but it all hinges on Martinez's health

This is why I don't think he will get knocked out by Martinez.

No, but Floyd had him badly hurt.
