Seems like his heart just isn't in the game. Sad.

      Most likely nothing now

Dude's suing Goosen again.. I think this is the third time...but this is what's always putting a hold on him. Dude's not going to get out of it. His contract is up next year.... why hurt yourself if you're going to end up finishing it anyway?
I don't get it either or why doesn't Andre Ward try to buy himself out of his contract? He's getting really terrible advice from his team and management. Dan is not a bad promoter and they may have a fight on ESPN coming up (I'm not convinced Don King & Dan Goossen have secured ESPN as the network). Andre Ward should be excited but something tells me Bob Arum, Top Rank & HBO are in Andre Ward and his team's ear because Dan has no problem working with ESPN, HBO or Showtime.

I really don't get him or Andre Direll. Talented guys not fighting enough in their prime. It's a waste. I don't know why he's trying to get out of his contract cause he said that his promoter was not the roadblock for a Chavez fight. And he also said he isn't holding him back from fighting anybody. It must be a thing where he doesn't like the percentage of his cut that the promoter gets. That's the only thing I can think of.

He's an example of why it sucks to be a boxing fan these days. The top guys hardly fight, so all the fans on the internet have to talk about is bull**** and no constant discussion of actual fights. I can't even call boxing a sport anymore. It's an extremely poorly run business.

Seems he can't accept that he gets paid based on what he can sell.

He is in a bad position cause he is high risk, low reward for anyone willing to fight him. He won't sell many tickets and he most likely will give you a boxing lesson so guys like Froch and Chavez Jr why should they fight him when they can make better money with easier fights.

At 175 he would be seen as less of a threat moving up and having not that much power so it would be easier for him to make big fights.

He's too good for his own good lol. He won't talk trash, won't call guys out, gives cliche answers when interviewed and never fights outside of Oakland.........then wonders why his promoter ain't giving him more money

Last I heard he's suing his promoter to break away. Again.

It's horrible, the guy's my favorite fighter but I can't support him lately. It's horrible to think he's done nothing of note for so long. Even Dawson, which wasn't that much of a win but was something, will be 2 years passed at least by the time he gets in the ring again.

I would love to know if he has any ****ing clue when he's going to fight again. I'd love to know that much at least. The guy's wasting his prime and his chance at a HOF career. And he's not making any money anyway. What's better, a legacy and good money, or no legacy and no money?
