Like I said before. Andre Ward is tired of boxing. He doesn't enjoy it anymore. He wants 1 or 2 big pay days before he retires and focuses on commentating.

He's already talking retirement. That means his mind is basically checked out.

Talented fighter but his heart just isn't in it.

it's well publicized that he's got a bad relationship with his promotor. he signed for a very long time. it was a bad move.

he's also the son of god. when he's not fighting he ascends into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the father.

            Look at #30...

... I've said it numerous times: Ward doesn't like to fight...
Ward is very gifted and he's a very intelligent guy -- but his style is way too "fabricated", artificial... This because he doesn't have a right hand (he injured his right shoulder when he was 12 years of age and had it fixed last year only)...

As we all know, Ward planned to move up long ago... But the recent results that Stevenson and Kovalev had made him hesitate...

He could be making easy money right now though. Dude made 2 milli, even though I'm sure HBO didn't like it, against E-Rod. Even if he takes a pay cut, he's still making more than a milli taking fights he can easily win.

Dude needs to realize he's not getting out of his contract and just fight. It ends next year... why waste time doing nothing?

Ward has Irish blood -- therefore he's stubborn...

Makes sense. But I don't think time off bothers him. When a fighter says the "R" word his mind is checked out and he's on is way out soon.

if he means it, i'm inclined to agree with you.

talk of retirement could simply be a means of pressuring hbo, or threatening goosen.
