I don't know what Groves's deal is. He was talking about signing with an American promoter or something if he didn't get a rematch.

Sounds to me like he's better off money wise against Froch over Ward
Given Groves' character and history, he probably wouldn't give Froch a third fight if he won.

All depends how the fight goes I guess. I have a feeling its going to be pretty decisive either way.

Groves is not signed to any long term deal with Hearn. He'll be a free agent after the Froch fight.

Ward needs to swallow his pride and just finish his contract with Goosen. I don't know if it's a moral victory if he doesn't fight until he's released, but he'll move soon because I don't think commentating money is that great.

GBP probably going to sign him then....or at the very least Al Haymon.

Anything north of 154 is pretty barron to GBP and TR in terms of quality fighters.
GBP does have Bika at 168. If they sneak in Groves before Degale, that could set up a rematch.

I don't know....Groves seemed like he wanted Ward, that could be next

Ward thought he can take the "Floyd's path"... Meanwhile Floyd changed his business approach because of the huge Showtime deal... Floyd understood that the ballroom days are over in business -- Ward didn't. Ward didn't feel the "Zeitgeist"...

Unlike Floyd, Ward is missing a matching personality and that break through PPV appearance

That could be JCC Jr.....but it'll be hard if he doesn't get him next.
IMO... could be harder to get into that PPV lime light for Ward because there are very few fights that could even be made PPV

That doesn't make any sense, this threads not about who makes more money, Ward is not taking advantage of his best years, there is really no denying that, no need to come flying in to the rescue.

We know this... I only said that: Ward thought he can take the "Floyd's path"...

Ward doesn't have Floyd's charisma and pleasure to provide show... Ward's too calculated and serious... Last year, Ward said that he doesn't see any point in trying to become #1 P4P as long as Floyd is around...

It's very likely that Ward would wait another year and a half until he would "move decisively" with his career... That's my guess...

I remember ward was on Twitter, laughing and agreeing with Richard Schafer regarding Golovkin and his ratings at HBO. when Golovkin was just an upstart. Ward was dismissing Golovkin. Now he is damn near begging to fight the man. Funny what the killers at 175 make you do.

He shouldn't have signed that extension then. I'm a huge Ward fan, but he did all this to himself. Goosen did good for him considering IMO.
