Comments Thread For: Maidana: I'm Coming For The Title and Glory, Not Money

WBA welterweight champion Marcos Maidana (35-3, 31KOs) says his biggest motivation when he steps inside the ring on May 3rd, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, is the WBC title and Floyd Mayweather's undefeated 45-0 record.

Maidana earned the high profile opportunity when he defeated the heavily favored, and undefeated, Adrien Broner last December at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. Maidana is currently training in Oxnard, California with his veteran trainer, former champion Robert Garcia.

Don't start in on that crapola. NOBODY in their right mind would fight a high profile fight for free, or any pro fight for that matter. That would be simply ignorant. I have full confidence though, that he is coming to win, and will work every second of every round to try to win. Win or lose, he will bring it. So tell us, what more do you want from a fighter?
