My thoughts exactly. "Sustain an injury" there is a long time between fights to recover. This line was obviously BS other than that and the spin on the contracts being signed which does not add up and Kell Brook not being on his level up he came over well.

Yes he did and negotiated his way out of that fight. You believe he had a contract with Floyd but didn't have one with Alexander? This proves you believe whatever bull**** that comes out of Khan's mouth.

He says he turned down a fight with Alexander then in the same interview says he's never tuned down a fight. LOL

This is all strategy from Khan's team and their strategy failed. Now he wishes he took the fight against Devon Alexander because at least a win over Alexander would have more likely gotten him a fight with Floyd.

Khan hasn't done anything of note in over a year and now he's paying for it.
Yeah but it's not just any fight. It's a Floyd Mayweather fight.

He regrets not taking the fight because he didn't get the Mayweather fight. I don't think beating ****ty ass Devon Alexander would have suddenly secured him the fight.

          .
Here's the thing ... I don't mind seeing Floyd vs Khan in the ring, BUT, Khan can't have the mindset that he doesn't need or want to risk fighting anyone in the interim. That's why and how he got passed over before! Dude has to get back in the ring and stop thinking that certain future opportunities will be there for him on account.

There was no fight signed. They hadn't agreed anything. You obviously have no clue what you're talking about.

There was talk of having it in Dubai but Alexander's team rejected the idea and started talking about facing other opponents. There was no agreement on money either so how the hell was there a signed fight?

Why would you want to spend time recovering from an injury when you could be sparring and working on things for the biggest fight of your career?

It's not like Devon Alexander was some megafight that was worth even taking when he was told he'd be fighting Mayweather.

It would have secured him a world title and put him in a far better negotiating position and a win over ****ty Alexander is far more impressive than wins over ultra ****ty Molina and ****ty Diaz.

You're believing Khan's nonsense. Khan also said he had a contract with Floyd's team when Floyd's team says there was no contract and contracts can only be brought to you by Goldenboy not by Mayweather.

You're trying to defend Khan's ******ity and it's not working. How does doing nothing for a year guarantee you a fight with Floyd or make you more adept to fight Floyd?

Maidana's win over Broner would have still been viewed as the more impressive one so it's kinda a moot point.

I'm talking about the Devon Alexander fight. You said Khan pulled out of a signed fight with Alexander. There was no fight signed. Ask Team Alexander if they signed a fight. They didn't and neither did Khan. They hadn't agreed on anything.

As for the Mayweather fight. Oscar seems to think Khan signed his part of the contract....
