    East-man Is A Dead-man: Hopkins Gives Another Technical Beating

    This is gonna be a great fight let's look BRIEFLY at these fighters:

    Bernard Hopkins 45-2-1(32):
    There are faster boxers and bigger punchers, but none can match Bernard's arsenal of defensive and offensive skills and versatility. He can jab and move from long distance or maul and crowd you up close. The 6'1 Middle Weight champion is amazingly strong and takes a good punch.

    Howard Eastman 40-1-(34):
    Physically strong fighter. A lot stronger than he looks. He is a hard and accurate puncher. He has a good jab, a strong cross, strong uppercut, pretty good defense and a VERY good chin.

    My Prediction: Both of these guys can take a good punch. Eastman is a slow starter who sometimes shows a lack of urgency like in his loss against Joppy. In my opinion Bernard has superior boxing skills than Eastman and is able to fight on the outside as well as on the inside exceptionally well so Eastman will have nowhere to hide. Since Eastman can take a good punch,it's unlikely that Bernard will knock him out. BUT it is very possible that Bernard may stop him in the later rounds like he did in the technical beatdown he gave Tito...BUT I'm leaning more on a SEVERE 12 round technical beating like the one he gave Joppy. Bernard Hopkins W12 by UD

    Good call on most of it, losing a 12 round decision won't make him a dead man, he'll be very competative for the first 7 rounds or so then Hopkins will take the stretch, 11 round stoppage with Howard on his feet or 12 round points for X

      The way that Bernard schools other fighters and takes their heart away slowly round by round in a lot of ways is a lot worse than just getting wiped out fast and easy in my humble opinion. That's why I say Eastman is a deadman. But I hear what you're saying.

        That's what should happen but you never know, Nard might start acting his age.

          Anything is always possible. I doubt that though, Hopkins is 40 but he is a young 40...a freak of nature really. But yeah anything is possible.

            Besides Joppy, whom he lost to, Eastman has fought no world recognised boxer.

            Hopkins will kill him.

              Eastman has good defense??? BALHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAAHAHAMAUAHHAHA

              THe man is a human dart board, and easy to hit. He's got decent offensive skills, and really good power, but he's a ****ing punching bag.

              Hopkins easy KO 9.

                    Eastman hasn't fought the best opposition, but he looks for real. He's a hard hitter, but B-Hop is just intimidating and may just impose his will on Howard. I think Eastman is going to put up a spirited romp and come up a little short.
