Vernon Paris. Serrano is no good. Gomez very good, but not stepping up fast. Benavidez was out on his feet vs Miranda so they'll probably keep moving him slow.

Lol about time someone mentioned ole Mike Jones. Dude was seemingly on every major PPV undercard (well TR anyway), HBO was talking him up as a future star...and he gets decapitated by Randall Bailey and hasn't been seen since. Not even a whisper about him.

someone said "the japanese dude who KO'd kirkland"

he didnt just "disappear"..nobuhiro ishida had 2 notable fights after KOing kirkland. the first was against paul williams where he lost a decison, and the 2nd was against GGG where he got KTFO and retired.

the mixed guy who zab ko'd a few years ago was vernon paris

my pick is matvey korobov. he looked very good a few years ago and just disappeared. he was like the GGG before GGG

              Anyone remember Alexander Frenkel?

23-0 18 KO's, his last fight he had was in 2010 and he nearly decapitated Enzo Maccarinelli.

One of the best knockouts I've seen.

Apparently he had some serious issues with depression unfortunately.

But let's try and come up with a list of the forgotten ones.
Wow, someone other than me remembers Frenkel?

He impressed me in the Enzo fight, and it wasn't just the KO. He showed great movement, defense and counterpunching and excellent handspeed. He kept making Enzo miss and landed nearly all the meaningful shots in the fight. The judges probably had Enzo up at the time of the stoppage because he was the aggressor and the hometown guy, but I thought Frenkel was giving him a boxing lesson.

After that performance, I was looking forward to his next fight, but for some reason it never came...
